Our road trip from Peru to Argentina included an epic overland adventure driving though Bolivia to the salt flats of Uyuni followed by some hiking in the Chilean high desert of San Pedro de Atacama. From there, we would meander down the famous 40, or “Carretera Austral” following the Andes South until arriving at Mendoza, a world class culinary and viniculture destination.
Our guests often ask us about Plant Medicine ceremonies and, although we are not a plant medicine center, we try to help them along the journey, and once we know them, we sometimes point them in the right direction. Many guests find Willka T’ika gardens an ideal place to come and prepare BEFORE a plant medicine ceremony or to integration their experiences afterwards. We have written this Plant Medicine Handbook to serve as a resource for guests who our curious to explore this healing modality.
The Willka T’ika Children’s Fund (WTCF) now also supports several young women who are the first in their families to graduate high school and attend higher education.
