Every week we receive messages from people interested in work, work-exchange, internships, or volunteer opportunities at Willka T’ika. We generally respond by explaining that we have a wonderful staff of 22 Quechua neighbors who have been working with us since 1994. In the tradition of the Andean principle of “ayni” or reciprocity everyone pitches in and helps with guest services, food preparation, housekeeping, gardening, and maintenance. As such, we have rarely needed outside help.
However, as we expand to attract more diverse individuals and groups from different countries, we are now hiring a part to full time Marketing Manager where people interested in Wellness and Hospitality can contribute to the growth of our center.
The potential and opportunity is unlimited as there is so much that can be accomplished with the right person. It really depends on your experience and interest.

We are seeking a talented and experienced Marketing Manager who is fluent in both Spanish and English to enhance our online presence, connect with wellness-focused travelers, and promote the unique offerings of Willka T’ika.
Responsibilities:

Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement across both Spanish and English-speaking markets.

Create, schedule, and manage social media content showcasing Willka T’ika’s wellness programs, luxury accommodations, Andean cultural experiences, and sustainable practices across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.

Design and distribute visually engaging, informative, and inspiring e-mail newsletters targeting wellness enthusiasts, travel agencies, and returning guests.

Analyze marketing campaign performance, adjusting strategies to enhance engagement, conversion rates, and overall brand recognition.

Collaborate with the resort’s team to ensure cohesive branding and messaging that reflects Willka T’ika’s unique identity and values.

Monitor industry trends within the wellness, luxury travel, and eco-tourism sectors, adapting marketing strategies accordingly.

Maintain a consistent brand voice that conveys the authentic spirit of Willka T’ika across all marketing materials.

Translate marketing materials between Spanish and English, ensuring cultural relevance and linguistic accuracy.

Develop partnerships with wellness influencers, travel bloggers, and industry publications to promote Willka T’ika’s offerings.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.

Proven experience (3+ years) in marketing, preferably within the wellness, hospitality, or luxury travel industries.

Fluency in both Spanish and English (written and spoken) is essential.

Strong copywriting and content creation skills in both languages.

Proficiency with marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Constant Contact/Mail Chimp, Zendesk CRM, Canva).

Analytical mindset with experience using tools like Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, etc.

Exceptional communication and organizational skills.

Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced and service-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in SEO, paid advertising, and content marketing within the wellness or luxury travel space.

Familiarity with Andean culture, wellness practices, and sustainable tourism principles.
